E-Group

E-Group is a group of companies whose primary interest is in energy investments. Key centres of operation are the EU and Ukraine, with projects also under development in the USA.

E-Group Companies

E-Group brings together several companies under the umbrella of the investment fund of E-Group Investments SICAV, a.s. and its sub-funds. The fund’s ownership interests in individual companies vary. The sub-fund E-Group Mixed Investments has holdings in the business sectors described below.

E-Group is majority-owned by the foreign investment fund with variable capital E-Group Investments SICAV, a.s., which is registered in the List of Investment Funds kept by the Czech National Bank and is therefore covered by its strict regulation.

The investment group was founded in Slovakia but decided to list on the Prague Stock Exchange as it expanded into foreign markets. Its portfolio is organised as a qualified investors fund in E-Group Investments SICAV, a.s. The fund is a public-interest entity because its participating securities are admitted to trading on a regulated market in the EU. Fund shares can be acquired only by qualified investors in accordance with applicable law. The fund is included in the list of funds kept by the Czech National Bank, which has regulatory oversight over it.

Since it is a public-interest entity subject to CNB regulation, the fund’s statutory body is the investment company TILLER investiční společnost a.s. A fund can create sub-funds, each of which has its own investment strategy.

In our case we operate the sub-funds E-Group Mixed Investments and E-Group Private Equity. The majority owner and founder of E-Group Investments SICAV, a.s. is Anton Bielik.
